Power Nanny App

The RF Power Nanny App is an embedded app and only available and served from a Power Nanny device. We choose to ship the front-end software together with the firmware on the device itself so it can be used independent of an available internet connection. This way the RF Power Nanny can be used in the field where there is no internet available. Also, it will guarantee a working device during its lifetime. The firmware (togeter with front-end app) can be updated when new versions are available. You can find out more about the app in our documentation pages.

Look Who's Talking App

The "Look Who's Talking" App or short LWT App is a free public Web App and shows limited data of every RF Power Nanny that has sharing enabled. The sharing of data is optional. If sharing is enabled, the location of the RF Power Nanny is shown on a world map with a geo pin. Other HAM operators around the world can track your radio activity. Updates are instant without the need to refresh. So, users of the LWT App can see real-time changes without having to do a page refresh. The data is pushed/streamed to all current viewers. Local url lookup

Your RF Power Nanny, when connected to your local WiFi network, can be accessed using its mDNS name url "http://powernanny.local". If you have configured a hostname extension (for when you have multiple Power Nannies) this extension is added like this "http://powernanny-EXTENSION.local". So you have to remember the extension.

On some (older) devices mDNS may not work. Here you can use the IP address of your Power Nanny like this: "http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx". But for this you have to know what IP address was assigned to your RF Power Nanny.

In most cases you will have created an App link on your home screen or taskbar and forgot about it. But in case you need to know the exact url again (maybe you need to install a link on a new computer) we made a utility to generate the right url for you.
